Proof of Mind, I learned about this from my friend Sam. She learned of it from her neighbor Holly. I thought it was a good idea. Anyways,. Here's the thing. This year (2011) I will take a picture everyday, for 365 days, of something meaningful in my life. I will then proceed to write some memory, or story as to how i obtained the object, or maybe just why it's meaningful. So.. yeah(:

I like Saturdays and The Rocket Summer. 1/1/2011
Yeah, I know. To you, it look like just a random heart made out of paper. Something that I maybe found on the ground, or in my room while I was cleaning.
What you don't know, is that this is one of my favorite things in the world. It's one of the plush hearts from Build a Bear Workshop. The one they give you to put in your bear. A while back, I was in Build a Bear, and I took a heart. I'm not sure if this was considered stealing, and I hope it wasn't.
This heart means so much to me, because when I'm in Build a Bear, and I see a little kid getting a bear, it reminds me of when I was first in the store, and I got my first Build a Bear. I got to do the little dance that they put together when you put the heart into your bear. I don't exactly remember the dance, but it was something along the lines of spin in a circle, make a wish, kiss the heart.
Whenever I look at this heart, it reminds me of how excited I was to get my first bear, how excited I was to pick out the little outfits, and how excited I was to bring it home in it's little cardboard box. I still have not properly christianed my Koala Bear, and I still refer to it as Koala Bear, but I know that in my koala, there's a heart that a 8 year old made a wish on, and is still waiting for the wish to come true.
Who knew something so little, could mean so much, right?
